These were actually the 05 plus colors.
There was no GG in 03/04 and it only came in the MR. In 05

The white and blue colors for 03/04 were Blue By You and Weightless White they changed to Wicked White and Electric Blue in 05

Yes Lightning Yellow was a color for USDM cars in the 03/04 modelyears

i could of swore LY was only done in 03 USDM version of course

 

You could get them as 04 my as well and even with SSL. As that became an option in 04.

I remember seeing the owner of what used to be Orbital (Double Din) at a meet and his car was a factory 04 LY with SSL

Yea it's in Australia. You could get LY IX's in other parts of the world. Damn

 

I live in the USA and have an 05 LY EVO 8

 

The next best thing to a LY IX is an 05 LY VIII (w/SSL ).

 

just get a 05 yellow 8 and throw the 9 front on her. i did the same with my electric blue 8 and i never once thought about throwing the 8 front back on

 

im pretty sure the last year they made the LY color was 04, not sure if they had 05's with ACD? wonder what the total number of yellow evo were sent to the US?

 

wow i dont know why yellow evo 9 looks a lot better than the yellow 8's

 

Maybe because of the rear bumper, taillights, vortex generator, rims, etc... I personally prefer the VIII front end over the IX. The first picture in this thread is what I have in the works for my VIII

 

hmmm maybe.... but with the other colors too, i love the EB over the BBY

 

yes they did... very limited amounts of the yellow were made for 05..
