How high is to high. boost

Im getting a tune soon and have been contemplating what boost to run at. I have a list of mods at this link "dont care to re post it all.." http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3081798I also have a boost pill waiting for the day of the install to put in, along with a set of 750cc injectors.

I installed an adjustable waistgate actuator at was way up at 28 but tuned down to like 24 rt now cuz that seemed way to high, not to mention with a boost pill added onto that. Are their any benefits to keeping your boost relatively low instead of adjusting it very high?

umm? wouldn't the boost affect the HP/Trq. so your saying if i tune my boost down to 5 psi that it will not affect my HP/trq lol

already did otherwise this post would not be here... and i dont care to leave it up to the tuner cuz i live in alaska and my tuning options are extremely limited, and so is the experience. im not as lucky as to make a few hr road trip to next state for a knowingly great tune lol. its 13hrs to canada from my place...

Well you should stop contaminating...

24psi is usually what most people go with on the stock turbo and pump gas. I would only consider going higher if you know how to do your own tuning and logging.

Reread my statement....I didn't say boost doesn't effect HP/trq...but hp/trq is the factor that decides your limitations not boost...especially living somewhere as cold as where you live 30psi say in California is not going to be = to power numbers you will put down there @ 30 psi....

SO as clarification- there is not a magical # for psi to stop @. You stop at whatever psi is when the hp/trq is @ the limits that you are looking to stay within...OR when you start getting knock...

92 pump and 101 race jerk off

Im not sure if you're just being a ***** over the after-market bov or if you find random comments funny... holds boost much better than stock and its re circ.

ok i retract my statement. but we have no dynos that are available for public use to determine the HP/trq.. i guess theirs always guesstimating lol
