How high is to high. boost
The problem is knock. Race gas and 30 psi makes power with supporting mods. On pump gas, 92 is crap, so a high boost level will cause knock. Knock i believe is am easy way to lift the head. That's where the head studs come in. Its just a precaution.
A. if your going to tune/log your own car and dont know the answer to this question to begin with, i can say confidently you should not be doing what your doing.
B. your tuner should be able to tell you how much boost you should run for a decently conservative tune, whatever your set up is.

Well tuning your own car with NO experience can have drastic consequences. If you aren't getting help from someone with a clue m34g63 is right unless you don't care if you blow/hurt your motor.
never said i was going to attempt to tune it. as stated in my original post.
im just learning it and have been reading like 2 different books and just playing around with logging and understanding what i see. i thought he was referring to something else for some reason, or i would have just said im not trying to tune my car prior. i just happened to be trying to learn it.
