No offense meant but... Seriously people? Do you read what you write?

Bad luck? Endless money pit evo?

Can you explain to me how can you hit a speed bump hard enough to smash an oil pan and not notice it? I mean the bang had to be strong enough to pull over and atleast look under the car if there's something wrong, especially with a lowered car which I presume you have. Your lazyness/stupidity cost you an engine now deal with it and stop writing about it like it has something to do with the car.

I had my own meeting with a speedbump like that, except mine ended with a 3 foot jump at 60mph and a shock for me. (I forgot there was speedbumps and it was 3am...)

Aren't these ex-rally cars? I didn't think it was possible to smash the bottom of the engine going over a speed bump. Wouldn't the front of the engine make contact first??

Sorry for your bad luck.

Ex-rally cars, yes.. but you lower your evo and/or add 3 people (assume 600lbs) then speed bumps may be detrimental to your vehicle. Now, too slow and too fast is bad on speed bumps. if you hit a speed bump at about 15-20... much friendlier on the car... its a physics thing...
