speed bump? really?

hey guys

some of you may know i blew my motor due to over revving the stock evo 4 block 2 months ago, well, i got it replaced by a built block containing eagle rods, eagle crank, and wiseco pistons.

car ran great for a good 3 weeks, until saturday night. i recall going over a bad speed bump and perhaps having a harsh ground-car meet. everything was fine at first, but the next day when i took the car out, i felt that the car wasnt responding ideally, i mean, hardly 70% of the power was there. Later on some bad noises started to come, but again did not seem to be engine seizure. At first it seemed as if the turbo gave up, then as if something went wrong in the head. Once my tuner checked it out, turns out the oil chamber has a big *** dent, which caused the oil pump to squash which led to restricted oil delivery, eventually which caused a bad crank and rods.

i mean, is this something even near ****ing serious? now going over speed bumps can even cause blown motors? seriously?

You bottomed your car out and dented the heck out of the oil pan which caused the failure. OK looks llike you were going a bit fast for that speed bump huh??

Is your car lowered?
How long have you been driving?

Good luck on the rebuild

gotta get the speed bumps at an angle and go super slow. dont drive over them at cruising speed.

the beauty of it, i went over slowly, i had 3 guys in the car which made the ride lower, i guess it was just a bad *** speed bump!
