What kind of boost controller? The only way I've been able to minimize the boost taper is with ECU controlled boost. The MBC wont do it and the EBC is better but still cant.

I used a vise and a nut to crush mine at first. Then to get the last bit needed I used a hammer. It'll hold 27 lbs now. It took some trial and error. You should be able to properly control your boost levels with that GM 3 Port. I am able to hold right around 26-27lbsl Its possible a little more time is needed with the tune to get it where you want it.

27 psi seems a bit high for the stock dv, especially since its not crushed
it will probably take a toll at your wastegate actuator too

your not gonna be able to hold much more boost then 20psi on stock turbo by redline. the turbo just can flow the air up top

i dont care if you have a 150psi wastegate on the stock turbo, its still gonna taper to around 20psi by redline. learn how to read a flow chart, then look at one for the stock turbo. the only way to fix this would to be run a bigger compressor and turbine wheel
