It really depends on your driving. 500awhp is very easy to make... what are you looking to do with the car?

if you DD your car and want 500whp, get a fp green, your TQ will be insane along with hp, would be very fun to drive on the street.

You should give more guidelines for us to help you, like are you going to be using it for anything besides a DD street monster? This is because everyone is just going to spit out different set ups with no reasons behind them.

I suggest trying something new like a 2.4L with a PTE 5757. This is because the torque will be sufficient with the larger displacement and there will be minimal lag for a larger turbo. A 6262 would also work, but that is for pushing 600+awhp.

I also suggest sticking with a stock frame turbo like an FP Black, or possibly the new CBRD BBK-B (although I have no idea about release time). Those would also support the 2.4L nicely and 500awhp IS obtainable through a stock frame turbo.

do you have dyno sheets? i am very curious of your set up. I am on the black now just wondering if its worth the money to upgrade.

fp red

Fp red ftw or Fp black, I have the red with stock block head cams and bolt ons and push 403 on 93 octane on Buschurs dyno. With a built stroker block and E85 500 should be easily attainable. Going with the smallest size turbo for 500 awhp will give you instant spool. The larger turbo, the larger the turbo lag! 500 awhp on the street will be crazy. I can't think of any car I've seen driving will come close.

I think that Mikey got 535 on a Mustang through a Red, on the stock block running E85. So, 500 WHP on E85 with your larger displacement 2.4L motor should be a breeze.
