Is it worth it? intercooler and pipes

So i have a TR340

It has coated
3 in turbo back
High flow cat
269 cams
Drop in Filter
Tune 20-21 PSI

So the car makes 306 WHP and 298Tq

So i bought the following and im trying to decide if its worth it to install

3 inch test pipe
Niesl Upper and lower IC pipe
Perrin stealth FMIC
(Still need to buy a mini battery kit)

So if i install i will need to take it to AMS for a retune.
Im assuming boost will be turned up slightly but i dont want more then 24 PSI

What do u guys think i will see for power. im just trying to figure out if its a big enough gain to instal and have retuned.

If not enough i may save up for an FP red.

Please let me know

Yes, a tune will be needed to obtain the most from those parts. Also, turning the boost up to 24 psi will require a walbro 255 fuel pump. Your power can probably bump up to about 330-340hp. If you are planning on doing a tubo upgrade i suggest you wait and do it all at once. You also need to research more about parts you will need tonupgrade such as injectors, exhaust manifold, etc. to accompany the turbo upgrade.

Test pipe and IC should def net you some nice gains. Hopefully AMS will cut ya a break on the retune as it will be def worth it for ya. If I had to guess 20 hp 20 tq just with those 2 mods my man.

Let it breath man.

I have the same kit. I turned my boost to 24 and made 355 atw. I have an ETS LICP think that is the only diference. I am going with 255 fuel pump, 880 injectors, and 3.5 ETS intercooler. You can get alot more out of your tune.

piping and turbo back exhaust should have been like the first mods you did! The fmic will net you a little along with your piping. test pipe will net a tad. but if you are thinking about getting the FP Red i would save for that and get the supporting mods to it as well.

Thanks guys!

Yea i understand the turbo Upgrade is going to take alot more parts and i know about the 255 i forgot to mention that.

So looks like i should see close to 30WHP more

Im wondering how important the upper IC pipe would be. If i dont install the upper pipe i wont need the mini battery which could save a little money.

Im just looking best bang for the buck.

uicp isnt as important as the licp until you go bigger or if you wanna go short route. you really wont see a lot of gain on the smaller setups. but i would replace the couplers with stronger ones.

Well it is a short route... im just trying to figure if its worth it to buy the mini battery kit.

If it will only make 5 more HP then it might now be worth the extra 250 im spending on a mini battery kit

well look at it in other ways. small battery kit= more room for anything in the future, less weight, cleaner looking engine bay, etc......
some would do it because yes it will give a few more hp trying to get all they can.

my reasoning prepare for what comes to it in the future, always leave room for improvement if you can.

Mini battery kit is a nice upgrade to free up space under the hood and its a conversation piece with guys who know nothing about the evo.

I noticed a distinct improvement on my butt dyno when I replaced the stock intercooler with a larger FMIC.
