Premium service:

Horseless Carriage
Intercity lines
Reliable carriers

All are Enclosed

These guys are expensive, but that is because the service is top notch and they have insurance to back it up.

Good Luck

I just shipped my evo from Washington, DC to Lacey, WA in an enclosed trailer, with no complaints.

I went through Mercury auto transport. They're brokers, but they answered all my questions, and put my mind at ease. I highly recommend them if it's your first time transporting a vehicle, as they'll walk you through the entire process. The brokerage fee is minimal, and well worth the cost IMHO.

They used Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS) as the trucking company, and got my Evo to the westcoast in the same pristine condition as it was loaded on the truck. The driver called me to give updates on his ETA, so I was kept in the loop at all times of transport.

I chose an enclosed trailer to minimize the risk of having to deal with headaches from road debris, etc. I'm sure an open trailer would've sufficed. Goodluck!

I bought a car at a auction in cali once and it cost me 650 to ship it to kentucky. But the auction gave me alot of options when it came to shipping companys.

The bad news is it cost $1400 to ship from Florida to NY.....
But they are about the best and they will set a pick up and drop off date specifically. It's a handy thing. Also, they can handle you even if the car is very low. Many can't.

Horseless carriage, enclosed trailer and they have insurance as well...amazing service from the driver and the customer service section on the phone...I had my Supra trailered from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to OH for $500.00. I knew some guys down in Tampa that used them to have some very nice cars( Porsche's, R34's, Supras, etc)shipped across country for under $800. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
