Key sometimes hard to turn

Hey, I don't know if anyone else has had a problem like this or what, but I bought an 03 evo8 about 2 months ago, and just yesterday and today I had difficulty turning the key in the ignition. It's almost as if its locked up, but after a few tries I can finally turn the key.
Is it possible my keys are just worn down or is it something else?

If the steering wheel is slightly cocked , try turning the wheel slightly left or right while turning the key . works for me

Spray a lubricant on the key. Insert in ignition. This will help as it did for mine.

dont do that. you run the risk of ruining the electronics in the ignition. if you are going to lube the key with anything, use graphite.

Is this your first car? Try turning the wheel a little.

It happens to me sometimes, just turn the wheel a bit and it will go no problem.

Just leave your steering wheel in the neutral position before turning it off and your fine next time you start it up.
