Get race pads (PF01 or DTC 60 or 70), motul 600, ti shims, 2pc rotors, brake ducting, ss brake lines. Aggressive alignment
Then HIT THE TRACK
HIT THE TRACK
HIT THE TRACK
HIT THE TRACK

Robispec KW Suspension + alignment
Best Street tires you can get (AD08, Z1*, RE-11...etc)
HIT THE TRACK
HIT THE TRACK
HIT THE TRACK
HIT THE TRACK

Once those tires die. Get R888 or NT01. More aggressive alignment. Then
HIT THE TRACK
HIT THE TRACK
HIT THE TRACK
HIT THE TRACK

In that order

10-20s off your lap time from when you first started depending on track. With the same power.
Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, CA (3.0 mi)
First track day ever - 294whp. 2:32 lap time
5th track day there- 294whp. 2:09s lap time

Buttonwillow Raceway Park in Buttonwillow, CA
First time there - 294whp. 2:12s lap time
6th time there - 294whp. 2:01s lap time

Moral of story, more track time, more seat time. More fun passing cars with more power and cost 1.5-3 times your car. Even other evos.

Of course more seat time is one of the most important things, and definitely suspension if you're on the stock set up.. but i'm willing to bet anyone who's not recommended an upgraded rear diff doesn't have one
