I'm in the market for an evo and have found one I would like to purchase. The only problem is it has 60k on it and am worried it may not be up to date on all its maintenance. If I were to call a dealer and ask them to run the service history for the car is that something they can do? Also any things to look for? The car is all stock and is very clean. Thanks for any help.

 

What did the owner say? The dealer wouldn’t have that info unless it was done there. You need to approach the sale as if the 60K Maintenance wasn’t done and have them take off $1500 off the price of the car.

The car is at a dealer but not a Mitsubishi dealer. Its possible the previous owner did his own mant on the car but I just want to be sure before I buy it. Also buying the car out of state so I cant see the car in person makes things harder.

Far. The dealer is in TX. I had them send me pics of all the vin tags and engine bay. Clean carfax so as long as the diff isn't whining should be ok. I have them running my credit now so fingers are crossed.
