whatever you do end up getting, make sure you get it tuned afterwards. thats gonna give you the best chance. i would say grab some cams. but im not real sure. i went straight to the full build. not sure about one thing at a time. lol
hmm well the s2k weighs in at about 2,864lbs while the evo weighs 3,285lbs. You will need to make more power than him to get the same time, if hes not losing traction on the launch too much. You have the upper hand in traction. With full bolt-ons you should be able to beat his time.
-intake, turbo back, mani, intercooler, intercooler piping, fuel pump, boost controller, good tune etc.

, Well the Cosworth m2's are one in the same as the Kelford 272's (do your research)and the GSC S2's are great cams but are really too big for a legitimately stock turbo. although great for BBK, and FP turbos.
head studs are a good idea while you have the valve cover off.
and 1050cc injectors will fill all your fuel needs on a stock turbo
im running 30-31psi with my ported ix turbo setup on e85 and my IDC's are still in a vary safe range.

There are tons of threads like this....When you say 12s to you mean 12.90s or 12.00s???
If you already have tbe, exhaust manifold & intake....
I suggest LICP, MBC @ 23-25 psi & a good tune...
I ran 12.00 with my completely stock motor, stock turbo, 93 oct. 6 spd evo IX....
