Evo IX oem question

Just bought an Evo IX front bumper basically BNIB from someone. it came with the push pins for the top but also came with 16 pins. what are these pins for? (the bumper did not come with the mesh grills)

Not sure about the front bumper, but the rear bumper mounting hardware uses pop rivets

Those are for stabbing yourself in the eye after giving up on the plastic screw clips for the undertray.

try using these instead:

^The above is true, however to answer specifically what those pins are, they are the rivets used for mounting the black metal support brackets to the bumper (directly under where the headlights are and above the crash beam)

they are sharp enough to stab an eye out . the black clips i exactly knew where they went but now i see what those clips are for. thanks for the helf

those are rivots. Generally to get the bumper mounts / hardware on (metal brackets).

are the metal support brackets needed 100%? will the bumper hold up ok without them?
