i cannot find a new oem one anywhere besides the 9's , mines has a bit if a fad and crack paint but i know its gone to get worst over time,

yeah, the 9's look ok but the 8 signature look is what i want, yeah still searching....

 

i think the only diff is the VIII is all carbon, as the IX is not... why dont you just repaint yours?

 

No it is not, the inside of the VIII is carbon the IX is not.

 

I've heard the wings are pretty expensive. A body shop could refinish the c/f and clear coat to make it look like brand new for a lot less.

There's a good how to on here somewhere that shows the before and after.

 

they are not the same...viii wings were replaced with ix wings you'll only find viii wings for sale privately

 

The VIII wing is all carbon.

When I had mine I sanded it all down to the carbon and had the whole thing cleared, so that all the carbon was showing.

I would do the sand and clear coat. Theres a good right up, believe it was a sticky, that you should look into.

that's the EVO 7 wing, and the OEM EVO 8 wing is 1x1 weave, and made a lot better than whatever you offer.
