If I had to DD a car I would take a GTO over an Evo hands down. Not that they are THAT good, but they are like big rolling sofas. Very comfortable car to drive. Not a bad car, but it wouldn't be my fun car by any means.

Surprising amount of backseat room in a GTO though.

Guys my EVO and this GTO are not DDs, thats why I have a lifted diesel on 35s, I dont mess around in winter

I tried quitting my Evo habit... but it didn't work. I tried leaving it for an E55 and still came back.

I really do like the GTOs, as much as many hate it. Good looking car and a lot of power for not much money...

Having said that I strayed from the Evo once and absolutely lusted after it and now I'm on my 3rd Evo. As others have stated before...you will miss it.

Got a couple buddies with GTOs, and i actually really enjoy riding in em.

Check out this story though - no Evos pulling this ****!

I'm sorry, that's silly. Somehow we all managed to get around in RWD cars in Upsate, NY during the worst storms of the last century with snow tires just on the rear wheels. Today, with modern snow tire compounds on all 4 wheels, there's really no excuse.
