I love the GTO for it's LS2 and comfort, but I am not a fan of it's bubbly body at all.

 

The GTO is a few steps back in my opinion. The only newer Pontiac worth my time is the G8 GXP...now that is at least a lateral step.

 

Hope you enjoy your GTO.......Just make sure you put a Turbo on that thing.

LSx engines are badass. I test drove an ls2 gto and they are very torquey. interior I thought was really nice too. You have any plans to mod the GTO yet?

 

Hey Vince, Enjoy the car as much as I did. I still haven't got over the fact that I wake up and the car isn't in my garage or driveway, but I do love the Evo. I'll send you some pictures when I finish the suede headliner and a few other cosmetic things that are in the works to make the car my own....

I sold my ix three months ago for a ls2 gto. My gto didnt last more then three months before i got bored with it. Today as the new owner backed it out of my driveway i thought to myself now i can get another evo. no regrets in selling the car. I should have kept my ix. Gto is too much of a battleship for me. but you might like it.

 

LS6 heads, FAST intake mani and 102mm tb in the future, and it should be around 500hp and ill be happy. I destroyed my friends STI from a dig and like five 40 rolls. I am still far from sick of this car. Mostly because the previous owner knew how to make this thing sound super badass.
