Ok now what is happening to my car is just plain weird. Ill list everything as best I could, and it may sound odd but its all true....lol

1. The car ran perfect as can be on my tune with stock turbo with S2 cams and all bolt ons. I ran a 12.0 a few weeks ago so i know nothing was wrong. So I bought a few things to up the power and do a little maintenance. I bought a buschur cast manifold 3065 kit, a new battery, and spoolin up coil on packs. First plan of attack was turbo kit. I literally took the whole stock setup off in an hour or so, and then replaced it with buschur one. pretty straight forward and all couplers and tbolt clamps all new, and in place no leaks or anything.

2. took off the old coils and put in the new spoolin up ones. plug and play and awesome quality.

3. I start the car to see how it is and it runs like complete hell!!! It sounds like its missing/ sti/ jumped timing who knows.

4. We found out that my battery is dying everytime I turned it off so its screwing up alot of stuff electric wise. Swapped my battery pretty simple like everything else and started it up. Ran better and above 5 grand clear up so I turned it off till I had more time to work on it. Now it barely even starts and if it does I have to keep giving it gas or it will stall. Only code its throwing is for a TPS low values???

5. Now nothing was touched or change beside those 3 things and the car wont even run now and somehow the tps went bad in a few hours of not running??? Now I still dont have my radiator installed because mishimoto one is to big for the kit so im lookin for a stock one to put back in, but other than that everything else is the same as hours before when it ran perfect. Could my tune be so far off with the bigger turbo it wont even run? I also somehow have no spark alot of the time until it barely runs with my foot to the floor. I know it makes alot of non sense but thats what im dealing with. NOTHING was touched other that the simple battery, COP, and turbo kit. anyone care to chime in on this? without touching anything Its crazy how all this stuff just decides to happen

 

I think you have to go with a bigger injectors with that set up.

 

needs retune for those 3 mods.

 

It should still idle...

Check all your couplers again. Check the maf. Make sure it's installed correctly and the plug is fine. Hmm, is the cop installed correctly? Install the old ignition to see if it clears the problem.

 

I would double check the cop kit and see if that is the problem. If that is not working properly then your sure not firing right. Like the post above says.. remove the cop kit and install the stock kit to see if it fixes your issue.

What you did to your car is not a minor mod.. a new bigger turbo you for sure need new tune.

 

You deff need a tune with the new turbo. Anyway, like they said, remove the cop to see if that may be causing it. Battery dying though is kinda weird. Still dying?? If so check all connections again you removed for turbo install.

I'm betting this is a major if not whole issue. I would think it should still start and idle even with the changes made?

 

I did try the old coils and still no spark or anything. I do have injectors but just for start up and getting itrunning it should still run halfway decent

 

Yea should start and idle fine on the stock injectors. Any chance Maf or Maf wiring was damaged in any way?? Boost leak test done??

May be able to get up in the next couple days to look it over w/ya if issues continue.

 

boost leak maybe/ check the MAF / check plugs/ you should be able to drive on the tune you have now/ check fuse if it doesnt turn over.

 

Was thinking the same thing also if your getting a tps low value check to see if it's plugged in..Also check your egt hose,coils over again,put in new plugs,and again recheck the maf if maybe you knocked out the honeycomb..

 

Boost leak is good, maf is fine didn't really move it much, and putting a fresh set of plugs in later although the old set got black in 10 minutes. My friend said a bad ground could do it?

 

Once when I put my engine back together I didn't fully snap the coil plugs together and it sounded like a subaru because it was only running two cylinders. I'm sure you have, but just re check your connections.
