These symptoms you describe are for pointing at one of the issues I just said and not that your clucth is going bad.
so you think its just that and not my clutch?

Bleed your clutch and make sure your break fluid is topped off
Check for leaks at the Slave Cylinder replace if needed
Check for leaks at the Clutch Master Cylinder (inside the car as well) replace if needed

That's the route I took... cheapest solution from start to finish before actually changing the clutch out.

I'm going through the same problem now myself. Clutch pedal went, it's now shaky/soft/spongy and it won't go into gear. Replaced the Slave Cylinder... nothing, Replaced the Clutch Master (with my nifty STM master to slave line also)... nothing. In the process of pulling the transmission now.

I've been told by a lot of people that it's probably my pressure plate, which is a bummer since I already replced the clutch 18 months ago with an ACT HDSS, maybe I got a bad kit... Time will tell.

I already purchased a new clutch for it. I went with Competition Clutch Stage 3, Kracka's review pretty much sold it. They should probably give him commission for all Stage 3's sold from EVOM /rant lol.

EXACTLY how mine was. Tire got a hole in it... pulled it into the driveway and turned it off on a Thursday.. Tires came in on the following Wednesday... Clutch went straight to the floor... couldnt get into any gear. It happens man.

Dude, seriously take that car to Atlantic Motor Sports (AMS) or any other evo guru in chi-town. 98.9% of evos grind or have grinded in 2nd , 3rd 4th or 5th gear so its normal. Plus an exedy s1 is truly a peice of shi*! search and you will find that ACT (2900 or 3200) will suit your needs. I doubt its the clutch tho, check master cylinder like the guys said.

everything is fixxed it was slave cylinder and pedal was stuck in friction zone so after driving it for a little i figured it out and lifted the pedal up. now i just got to adjust it i hate how u have to let go of the pedal 85% til it enguages.
