Talking The Best Buy

I am new to the evo forums, but have built a couple eclipse gsx and talon tsi and helped build a black evo x, exhuast fb black turbo etc. So now I am getting a evo and I want to know your opoin to what I should do. I'm looking at a evo 8, evo 9, and a evo x. It will been a summer/track car about 500 to 600 whp. What car would be thr best/cheapper wqy to go.

Also there is nothing cheap about correctly modding a Evo to 500+Hp

Thanks and yes I know it won't be cheap, but compared to the x parts can be cheaper

Did they make a mr in 03 04, I can swap the 6 speed into a 03 04 right

the 6 speed is not meant to withstand 500-600 whp and equivalent torque numbers

the 5 speed is going to be your only option for power at that level

sensibly you should look at an evo 8...as mentioned a 03-04 would be the cheapest bet

aside from that...you need to do some searching on the site...plenty of information is here and many of your elementary questions can be answered from reading the stickied threads
