I got a leak!! D:

Well it poured two days ago. I went to my car for school and noticed that where was a leak coming from the door lights (In the middle of the two front seats.) Water drips from on the right side of the passenger light. My passenger seat was wet and it started to smell like gym socks. Anyone know any ideas why it would be leaking? Ill take a pic since my description isent the best. Also im going to take out the lights to see if i can find a reason. The only idea i have is that water is leaking from the vortex Gen on the roof.

Possible sunroof seal is cracked and causing the leak...

I would pull off the interior roof liner, it's fairly easy to do. Then, just run the hose over.

The VG is most likely not a source of any leak. it simply sticks onto the roof, and goes under the black roof trim toward the back of the car. My best would be a glass/sealing issue toward the top of the windshield.

Yeah, it seems it is probably the sealer around the windshield.

idk man if the car is leaking from the front and the VG is on the back.. dont think much water could travel forward with the arch of the roof.. just common sense.. but it could probably be the windshield. thats what i would say. i would get it checked out and then let us know if thats it

Most likely a windshield seal leak. VG is just double sided taped on so there are no holes from it. Although the antenna hole could possibly be leaking. I dont see how it would reach the front of the car though.

I found where the leak is coming from. The pic is kinda hard to see but under the Weather strip is a hole were the glass ends. It is on both sides but the driver side is the biggest. Anyone know a good way to plug it up?

If you can get some silicone in there then you're set. Shouldn't take too much to seal it up.
