My Evo shuts down

Hi

My Evo IX sometimes dies like is loaded with too much fuel (I can see it on the Aem wideband going all the way to 10.0)

It happens every time i let go of the gas and press the clutch(when i begin to slow down or have to brake hard with clutch pressed)

The RPM start going down slowly until they reach 1k and it shuts off.

To prevent this I sometimes have to press the gas to increase RPM and not let it die if it dies i have to start it up again and sometimes when i do i can see alot of black smoke (alot of fuel being burned) coming from the engine bay and exhaust.

I have search some info and so far i believe is the injectors, they are not stock and i bought the car used with them installed and I don't know what they are , looking to get some stock ones. too see if it solves the problem and also because with 340whp i don't believe i need them

But what you guys think

Do you have a vent to air blow off valve?

It has been Tuned , it did help a lil but problem still persisted , also when the vacuum lines where being fixed it helped a lil too

So it migth be the BOV

dont know what type of BOV all i know its HKS (not replica) , you can see where it is on the pic

HKS -- VTA...take that off and put of a proper recir. valve. You cannot use a VTA with the current MAF setup.

There are a handful that I like. Forge RS was my top choice. APS dual-vent is another well used here. OEM IX is great too. Tial Q is good too.

Get a stock 9 metal BOV, it will give you the best reliability and driveability.

I would say you should probably do a boost leak test as well.

You have an IX -- your OEM should be the metal version.
