EVO's are also easily faster around a race track/autocross course as well. the one M3 I raced from a dig wasn't even close lol

I've owned both and auto x'd the M3, I haven't done it with my evo. I've raped people with stock evos\subis\audis at auto x. My bro took 3rd place in his M3 with minor mods. I'll have to kindly disagree with you with what I have seen and experienced myself. The E46 M3 does amazing in auto x. It's all about the driver as well. I cannot stress how much it is about the driver in auto x. You should know that since you auto x. I cannot stress how much anyone should know that if they've gone to enough events. I can't count how many people post up ****ty lap times with nice cars and others post up decent lap times with **** cars. I'm not saying the M3 is the better car here, I'm just showing an example how that statement can be incorrect. The M3 feels like it's on rails, but the evo feels like you can push it so much further.

As for just driving the car around I think the M3 is much nicer. The interior is much more pleasing the car just looks cleaner in and out. On the other hand I'd rather own the Evo for many more reasons than the M3. It's just so much more practical, it can hold a car seat (m3 cant), it's 4 door, fast, very tunable, and bang for the buck it's downright dirt cheap when it comes to parts and modding compared to the M. The price for parts in the M alone makes it well worth trading. You're defiantly going to miss your M3, imho it's a straight across trade. I didn't feel like I was down grading or upgrading when I got my evo. I'm extremely happy with my car, it looks nice, it's fast, handles amazing. This car honestly makes bad drivers good drivers.

Here are some pics of my old M3. This car was clean. In the end though. I freaking <3 my evo. I got a boner for it every morning I drive to work.

I've owned an M3 and multiple STI's, and I went back to an STI a few months after the M3. Now I'm looking for an EVO. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Good insight and I agree 100% with you. I will definitely miss my M, I have zero complaints with it, but after three years of ownership I would like a new project and awd! I can also guarantee I will have another M in the future when it is more practical! Btw Nice clean M! So who wants a nice M? Lol.

Just a heads up. Your post, I'm unable to view the pics of your ///M unless I sign up for an account. You should also try posting on craigslist if you haven't.

The e46 m3 is a joke. My evo 9, when it only had a intake, and tune destroyed e46 m3's. Street, highway whatever. Ive also read that they have rattling interior issues and other issues when they have some miles on them. My evo 9 has none and mind you, its fully built.

Every car has its flaws, some M3s do have a light rattle in the back, I have never had that issue. And yes Evo with light mods will smoke an e46 m3. The only option to get hp on an M3 is F/I. Though that alone is 10k-40k just for that, they do however put down some impressive numbers with FI. HPF is local to me.. their M3 is putting out 1200hp. Not too bad....

Well yeah, any car can beat any other car with the right driver. I was talking about the cars with drivers being equal.

Don't come into other people's threads with your "Holier than thou" attitude. It's not needed nor is it wanted. For 4 pages people were civilly comparing the cars and making recommendations then you show up with your douche comments.

Go race some SRT4's or something and prove to them that you are teh FASTAARRRRR!!!

Thank you, I inquired about his evo for sale and politely offered a trade. He insisted on bashing my piece of s**t car. I appreciate everyones honest and respectful comments!

, You were insulting, by trying to justify your 100,000 mile, 2005 e46 m3 with 3k in replica mods. With no factory navigation, replica bmw wheels, and who knows whatever other options, didn't come with it from the factory. Equal to my fully built 50,000 mile, 2006 evo 9. Which has easily 20k plus into it. Is newer than your m3, has half the miles, and worth more stock compared to your m3.

Please go post in someone else's thread. I am not here to argue..
