EVOlutionary and Bruzewski Set Their Sights on ONE LAP OF AMERICA
I would like to thank a few great companies for being the first to join our 2011 One Lap team:
Pure Tuning - What can I say. Keith and Aaron have helped make this car a National Champion, twice over. Although a smaller shop - it is this fact that allows them to focus on each customer's needs and offer professional, individualized service. With autocross and road racing backgrounds - Keith and Aaron know what it takes to keep you winning when the twisties get in your way. Their parking lot is often full of several national level autocross and TT/TA car ranging from Evos and DSMs to Subarus and Hondas.
DHP Composites - I owned the first DHP wing and splitter to go on a customer car and have worked closely with David over the past 5 years to develop a winning aero package. The amount of downforce/grip gained with a couple well engineered parts is astonishing. His wing and splitter designs have been seen action around the country - from the autocross tracks of the Midwest, to the road courses of California, and all the way up the long path of the famed Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Exedy Clutch - My stock clutch in my lightly modified 2004 EVO 8 went out at 12,000 miles. At that time I thought I was crazy for spending over a thousand dollars just for a clutch. It was an Exedy Twin Disc. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made regarding ANY of my vehicles. At moderate power levels that first clutch lasted me 40,000 street miles - including about 100 autocross runs and 50 passes at the dragstrip. I have been a die-hard Exedy loyalist ever since. My experiences over the years with Exedy products lets me KNOW that when I launch at 6000rpm at the dragstrip, or need to make a quick, smooth downshift in the middle of decreasing radius corner - my Exedy clutch is going to do it's job and be invisible.

A few comments. . .
Thank you so much. You have no idea how much that means to me. I joined this forum in 2004 and over the year have been inspired by countless cars including AMS's TA1 and TA2, Warrtalon, the Buschur/AMS drag battle, the Cyber Evo, HKS's TRB-02 . . . the list goes on. To know that anyone out there can draw a little inspiration from my endeavors makes it all worth it.
Not yet - but it is in the works. Plans for 2011 include a full flat bottom leading into a huge rear diffuser. I don't know if we will be able to get 'er done by OLOA, but for sure at some point during the season. . .
I am looking forward to meeting you guys too! Your thread was our inspiration for joining this crazy group of road warriors! David and I were sitting around reading about your plans for next year thinking "Wow, that is quite an undertaking - but it sure seems like a LOT of fun!". Then he joked around about us competing in One Lap. I brushed it off and probably called him a name or two
but that idea stuck in my mind. I found myself thinking more and more and more about it . . . and one day last week I called him up and told him I had registerred up for One Lap of America!! He thought I was pulling his leg until I had him look it up on their website! Needless to say - the next 4 months are going to be extremely busy trying to get everything organized!

You failed to mention which turbo you'll be running.
Good luck... I'll do my best to help you shed weight in the right areas with a few ideas.
All the races are far from where I am, so I'll be of no monkey assistance.
Best of luck and I don't think there's a better prepared Evo or owner for the job. Go get 'em!

This years One Lap is going to be rather epic with the lineup of Evos in the field. It is really exciting to see the competition coming into the event, as it is such a unique venue to experience.
We are really going to need to stage some cool lineups with all of the Evo's the first day, because after that it gets rather grueling to coordinate anything.

G/L Jarrod.
Glad to help out especially with the Autobahn stop-off. Got lots of laps there, with video and data acquisition from it! Send me an email or something dude.
Think ya left out that upgraded turbo in the mods list too!

Good luck Jarrod and co-driver, have fun!
Ps. I've had the pleasure of racing this car and all I can say is
. It will be a tuff combo to beat at OLOA. Jarrod and his team of sponsers have built a very good car. The DHP products on this car are amazing and the car obviously has all the right parts and tuning combo.
I will be following your progress.

Thank you all for the well wishes. We appreciate it for sure!
Some of you have noticed that I didn't list in the original post which turbo we will be running for ONE LAP. That was intentional, as I wanted to wait until I had something finalized. . .
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK CBRD FOR JOINING OUR 2011 ONE LAP OF AMERICA TEAM!!
From the time CBRD first hit the EVO scene I have been supremely impressed with their product development, attitude and professionalism. Since my first EVO VIII in 2004 I have worked my way down the path of stock-style turbos. VIII, IX, BR 20G-9, BR 20G-LT (the FP Evo Green). After researching the latest crop of modified stock turbos I KNEW that the BBK FULL was the turbo that would take my EVO to the next level of performance. Fortunately CBRD was interested in supporting our bid at a One Lap title this year! Thanks!
As I get the turbo on the car and retuned I will post up before/after dyno graphs of the new BBK Full vs. my original FP Green to show the gains, as well as a full road report of the driveability difference (if any) between the two.
Stay tuned for more updates as we add more supporting partners to our endeavors!
