Cam install

I decided to install a set of Gsc s1's along with new timing belt this weekend. After the install I took it for a test drive and to my surprise I didn't notice a bit if difference at all. To my surprise I look at the old ones in took out and they had s1 engraved on the ends of them...just my luck. I guess that's what I get for buying a used car, on the flip side at least I have a new belt and I know what cams I have now.

I was so excited and ready to feel the power increase, couldn't wait for the end of the week to get here so I could get started on it. After all that work to get let down lol. I guess it's time to save up for the next project. Not sure what to save up for next, still need it for daily driving.

Could you see the markings with the cams installed or where they on the ends and couldn't be seen until the cams were removed. I'm in the same boat, I'm unsure of what cams I have in there, stock or not. A picture would help if you have one.
