Instrument/Gauge Cluster burned out

Other than Mitsubishi who won't sell the bulb to me, where can I buy the bulb so that I can see my stock Speedometer/Tach/Fuel gauges...?

(Please dont tell me Autozone or Advanced Auto because I tried these places and they have never seen the bulb I should them and told me to try the dealership. They wont sell me the bulb and I dont want to pay $86 dollars for them to install it when I can do it myself.)

To be sure, there is a number on the existing bulb, take it out and check it.. but 74 sounds rt as posted above.

The only number on my bulb is "6" (or "9" if its upside down).
I have had several people at Autozone and Advanced Auto Parts tell me to take it to the dealer because they dont carry that bulb. Maybe there is not a high demand for this in Tampa, FL.

I ordered the following bulb from superbrightleds.com:

NEOx High Power LED Instrument bulb-Cool White NEOx-WHP 5mm NEO5-xHP

I hope its the right size.

Here in Florida, they first walk outside and take my VIN so they can verify it on the computer... well, I have an EVO VII, so there will be NO validation on the computer... and he in turn tells me that he does not carry the part.

One of my buddies told me I should drive up there with an American model EVO and have them do the same thing... he told me that should work. Too late. I already ordered from superbrightled... I just HOPE they are the correct size!!!

Good to know I wouldn't have thought of the undertray. On my POS miata I just put a piece of electrical tape over the check engine light. Solved that problem.

Sorry... In my excitement, I forgot to take BEFORE pictures... but, it shouldn't be too hard to imagine an unlit instrument cluster. Here is the AFTER shot with my bulbs from superbrightleds.com

I guess I should of read this before buying a handful of 5mm LEDs. I'm just going to use the existing bulb housing.

Back from the dead... Does anyone know what size socket to get from superbrightleds.com: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...nstrument.html

NeoWedges come in 3,4, and 5mm... Which ones fit the gauge cluster? Unfortunately, ours is not one of the vehicles you can select in their fitment guide.

Anyone got these?
