since you obvioulsy have a means of datalogging/flashing now, and since you claim the car was stock and you want it to be stock, just search online for a stock USDM EVO 8 rom, and flash it to your car. that way no matter what was done to your rom, it'll be erased, and the car will be put totally back to stock.

if it's a tune/ECU issue, that should take care of it. Try that, and let us know if that solves the issue.

If your flashing back to a stock ROM, make sure you get your immobilizer code off your original ROM and enter it into the stock ROM.
