fluctuating idle, blown IAC?
Background: I thought my meth kit was not working, so by accident hit the test switch while the car was off and the meth sprayed into the throttle body. I try to strat it up, does not want to turn over, so thought it may have vapor lock. 45 minutes later and some struggling, car starts, but revs at 2000 rpms. I reset the ECU, same problem. I plus in my trusty tactrix cable and start up evoscan and reset the SAS actuator. Worked like a charm. Drove to work with no problems. On the way home, The car would bounce from 400-600 rpms and sometimes would stall out in neutral. Do the same thing again with SAS and it would work for a bit, then drop back down. With the meth being injected and assuming not automatizing could it have damaged my IAC? I'll do the testing tomorrow to ensure it does in fact move when tested, but figured I'd get a jump start on any other options beforehand.
i am wondering the same thing with my car. the idle is 1000 rpms then when it is warmed, it drops down and revs back to 1000 rpms. It drops to about 700rpms and i was wondering what i would have to order.
