I had my VIII almost 6 yrs, and still never got it to where I wanted it to be, power wise I was just a turbo and some small things from, car needed a repaint, but then I sold it, and got a 2010 MR, so the process will start over, although not near as much as I did with my old one, just a little bit more pep, and definately some look to it. will try and put up some pics when I get home.

Your target will constantly change. When I bought mine, I originally said I would lower it and add a front lip and that would be it. A bajillion dollars later... and I'm about to drop a couple grand on safety equipment for the track.

I originally only wanted 400whp. Now I'm at 500 and looking for more. I got mine new in 05. I guess it all depends on your goals and how big your check book is

when i bought mine, i made sure it had the basic bolt ons done already. that way i didn't have to spend money on that and work on the motor. i'm more of a go then show modder.

Didn't have a goal at first. But then it was 400. Now that I'm there, I'm done.
Got to get it repainted with the miles though and the accident, lol.

Well I have a built motor in the works and ive had this evo for 7 months so far I have gotten injectors/ turbo/sparktech/ valvetrain/ after the motor is complete I will work on the show and shine or the tranny. My old evo i had since 07 and after about two months saving money i bought some mods for it. I dont really wait to mod my evo because i know the true potential of these cars and its my passion to work on cars and even better if its mine.

Bought mine with a lot of the initial mods that I wanted, after almost a year of ownership, I'm happy with the power at the low end (3,000-5,000 rpm) but would like to find a way to extend the power into the upper rpm range ( through say 7,000 rpm) without giving up much if any at the low end. Not sure if it's even possible. After that I will also want to do some work on the suspension as it understeer too much. My hope is that over the next 2 years I can get the big stuff done, but my guess is that I will be making minor tweaks forever
