Ok, this is my first post so bear with me guys.
I have a 2006 Evo 9, everything's stock except for a cone filter with 40,000miles.
Car was running perfectly fine before I replaced the old spark plugs with Denso Iridium "IHK22" spark plugs. That is all i touched, the spark plug wires and spark plugs. So I try and start the car up after the plug swap and it starts for a second, then bogs down and dies immedietly after. I checked all fuses in the engine bay and insideand replaced the Camshaft position sensor. I took out the spark plugs and smelled fuel on the tips, tried to put the old plugs back in and same thing happend. Could i have damaged the spark plug wires when i pulled them out? I tried taking out one of the plugs and attached it to its adjacent wire and had a friend crank the car, I didn't see a spark of any kind, is this supposed to happen? I'm out of ideas except to order new plugs and wires again...

Did you set the gap on these plugs? Thats important on turbo cars. Also... You replaced the cam sensor? Before or after your start problems? Try disconnecting the battery for 5 mins or so then reconnect and try again. The ECU could have a fault and is cutting spark.
Also-Incase you didnt know the spark plugs wont spark outside the motor unless your are holding it close to ground-something metal

Your coil packs were put back on in the wrong firing order.
edit: I'll try and find a pic of how they should be
