Not getting a Spark on 05 Evo 8.

Trying to diagnose why the evo isn't getting any spark. Trying to rule out all other possibilites before replacing Crank Position Sensor.

Pertinent Modification:
Drop in Filter
Spoolinup COP
Evo IX DV

What I have checked:
Fuel Pump works (I can hear the walbro come on)
All fuses checked under the hood
Changed all spark plug (previous smells of fuel but tips are fine, no indication of lean)
Cam Angle Sensor replaced (thought it was the problem so bought a new one)
Put stock ignition plugs back on to rule out
Battery charged
Pulled Plug 4 and not getting a spark.

Back Story:
One week ago, went to take the car for a drive. Car started normally. No abnormal delays. Warmed the car for approximately 10 minutes. Drove 1.5 miles to a stop sign. Went to go, and thought I stalled the car out. Car would not start up again. Some friends and I pushed the car back and now it sits in the drive way.

Please help.

I put the factory ones back on and still not getting a spark. I do not think it is coming from the COP.

Sounds like a cam angle/crank angle sensor problem. That is exactly what happens when they don't sync

That is what I leaning towards. Just trying to rule out other possibilities before replacing that sensor.

Do you know anyone with a decent scan tool? If you watch RPM's on the scan tool while cranking and it stays at zero, that usually indicated a bad crank sensor.

Did you check the ignition fuse inside the car? Under the dash? It's behind the change tray you have to pull.

Cause I read you only say you checked fuses under hood.

update...

Replaced Cam Angle sensor and crank position sensor. No crank play noted. Car still does not start.

Any suggestion would greatly be appreciated.

I would still think its a electrical issue seeing you are not getting any spark on #4 maybe some fuse, ecu or bad wires?
