Unfortunately it's not mine and I didn't do the work so I can't take any credit.

I spotted the thread on the MLR and thought I would repost on here for the pleasure of you guys

Here are some numbers

EVO IX RS = 2,888 lbs.

EVO Pro by Nicolam = 1,873 lbs.

Thats nearly 65% weight savings.

A Lotus Elise R weighs 1,896 lbs.

Radical SR9 LMP car weighs 1,708 lbs.

Its not even an Evo any more... more a less a tube frame car with an Evo body, a few stock suspension pick up points and the motor... kind of like a NASA Mazda GT

Yeah thats definitely not an Evo... Might as well just built a 4g63 powered open wheel race car. Is this thing legal to enter in time attack unlimited classes? I guess its loosely based on a unibody, so maybe?

agreed that isnt an evo anymore... that would be like calling a kit car a true Lamborghini.

however that is f'in insane. i'd be terrified to drive it... doesnt a ohlins suspension like that run somewhere near 10k? i cant imagine the price tag for that cars parts list...

I made a typo in the title and could do with a mod changing it for me.

It's "Evo Proto by Nicolam" - that's what he called it on the MLR anyways.

Light isn't it?

Come on guys it's an Evo.
  • It has an evo shell...
  • With an evo chassis number..
  • It runs an evo engine....
  • and has the silhouette of an evo.

Would you say Si Norris' Bogey was an Evo or not?

Sweet mother of all things holy. That is awesome.

There is an AX guy here in the States with an Evo ~2200 lbs if I recall right.
