How to build a proper Evo - weighs only 850kg!! Evo Pro by Nicolam
thats just incredible!!!
id still say its an evo... the unibody section is still intact.. 90% of the enginebay is all evo, the sideframe, and rear wheel wells, as well as all the drivetrain and suspension points.. they cut out the driveshaft tunnel and floor boards, cut the back half of the car off, but everywhere it matters is still all evo!
a very false statement... kit cars have almost none, if not 0 parts used from the authentic car! and are replicas... this IS a real evo, just has alot of parts cut off in the name of weight savings and chassis stiffening!
and im sure it is 100% legal in whatever class it was designed for! i highly doubt they would put that much time, money and engineering into the car without knowing exactly what they were designing and building it for!

Hello guys
I'm nicolam the owner and developer of the Evo proto , here I'm registered as nico, this is one of my favorite Evo website.
I have not posted a new topic directly on this site because the time available to do this is very little, is already very difficult to be able to respond to the other two sites where I opened the topic about my Evo.
for who would be interested to read them, shall post the site link to Italian and English site.

In the past I remember, however, also posted something here.
I know this my project raises reactions strange to those who see it because it's a really extreme Evo.
After I have stopped racing as driver, having still a great desire to play with race cars and since I am in love with the Mitsubishi Evolution decided to start this project.
In my mind was clear the aim of making as much as possible the car's dynamic behavior similar to that of a real race car.
after the first tests I can claim to have succeeded, it's amazing how times have improved in braking and cornering.
The car is complying with FIA regulations, and plans to use it in hill climb races or for simple pleasure on the track. I'd like to know if it could be regular competitions for time attack.
I'll try to update this site, there is no two without three.
ciao nico

Nice build on that race car, very extreme and very unique. I wish my evo weighed that much.
