Has anyone rolled back and hit a car?
Has anyone rolled back and hit a car?
Since driving a stick can be hard, has any one rolled back on a hill and hit a car that was too close to you? happened to me last week and when I rolled back and hit him, I just used his bumper to take off up the hill then pulled over and cursed him out
, can't stand when people pull up a inch away from your bumper. Alot of people must not paid attention in drivers ed, you should give at least a cars length of space!!Anyways tell me your story if it happened to you.

Part of getting my license in NJ when taking the drivers test for me while driving a manual trans car was stopping on an incline and being able to start without rolling back... I'd have to agree that its more your fault for not being able to pull this off...
someone did this to me in a different car. she probably had 8 feet in front of me but was just learning to drive stick and rolled back into my truck. I watched it in slow motion. kinda the other way around from your story though. i hope there wasnt much damage.
are you guys being serious? why should someone be 1 inch behind you seriously? why is it my fault its dam near impossible to take off with out rolling alittle. there was no damage anyways but still not my fault!
next time you get into a situation like that, depending on how steep the hill is, pull the ebrake while holding the button in until you feel the rear end squat, then take off like you normally would and bring the ebrake down. You wont roll an inch.
well honestly i doubt it was exactly a inch away, id image was 6inch+ or more like a foot.
It is still your fault tho, if you dont think u can manage to give the car gas and let the clutch out without rolling you might wanna..
1. Practice
or
2. See if u can work your e brake into the equation
If somone was infront of me a rolled bak and hit me, then had the nerve 2 act like it was my fault... A beat down would happen in that street haha.
