I don't think you could get all 3 after import costs and legalizing them
Maybe...it'd be cutting it close though
Still, I'd be hangin' out in your driveway ALL THE TIME.

That SCC test was a joke. I'm upset I wasted my time reading it!
Re: Best motoring videos - the drivers, while among the elite in Japan, aren't "racing" very hard. Some of them will push it, but most just drive around the circuit at 8/10 or 9/10. I wouldn't put much faith in the outcome of those "races".
Re: 350Z vs Evo 7 - Well, I hate these questions, because they're so ambiguous. For *me*, the Evo7 is better. I already have 1 impractical sports car, so I'd be looking for a practical rocket - something with 4 doors, a real back seat, and a trunk, but that is competent enough so that I can still make my passenger(s) nauseous if I so desire
The EvoVII fits the bill, the 350Z doesn't.
That said, if you were to compare a Euro spec EvoVII (276 hp
) vs a US spec "Performance" 350Z (287 hp supposedly), my conclusions would be:
Straight line (0-60, 0-100, 1/4) - The Evo7 wins hands down. Better power to weight, better traction.
Braking - Evo7 by a hair. Lighter car, comparable braking systems (on paper).
Cornering - Evo7 by a clump of hair. Lighter car, tuned for handling. The 350Z likely makes more compromises for comfort as well.
Overall performance - duh.
(driver) Comfort - 350Z, no questions.
Usable space - Evo7. Real back seat (except for tall adults) and a decent trunk.
Style - subjective. I like both for different reasons.
Uniqueness - there will be a ton of 350Zs, a lot of them the "poser" models. Every Evo will be the real deal though.
So, it's different for everyone, depending on what categories you value...

Very true, some of the drivers are really pushing it, but most others aren't. Can't really rely only on the race result. What I really think is more "objective" test is the time attack by the same person. and the side by side comparasons instead of the race. Originally posted by WestSideBilly

I was wondering what car is better
Regarding the Z vs EVO question. By better, which aspect are you looking for? I mean it really comes down to your own taste and preference. How important is performance, styling, price tag, comfort and features mean to you is completely subjective. Just my opinion.I was wondering what car is better

For those who haven't already wasted their time reading it, here is the test in SCC that was mentioned:

the 350z is a good car, its not practical if you have to carry a lot of stuff in your car, its a 2 seater of course, it gets a lot of looks, performance is decent, 0-60 is decent, 1/4 mile is low 14s to high 13s with good driver ,
i own one, but 4 doors more space, and awd for snow weather michigan, evo 8 is better for me, thats why i'm thinking about trading it in for one
