stuck clutch

Unhappy stuck clutch

friend has an evo 5, when shifting gear clutch pedal stayed on the ground then picked it back up and now the clutch will not move at all but isnt stuck on the floor..... anyone got any advise?

Clutch slave cylinder or master cylinder.

Evo 5? Sweeet.

Yes, it's more than likely the master cylinder. Change both the master and slave at the same time though since he'll be bleeding the lines anyway.

Oh, and when you say, "not move at all" I assume you mean the clutch won't disengage at all?

+1 on changing the master and slave cylinders at the same time. B/c if the one you didn't replace goes later which it probably will soon with a fresh other one it will save you time bleeding it again.

Slave or master 100%. Check the floor board where all the clutch crap comes through the firewall for broken pieces as well.
