whats this sensor for on the back of block?--PICS INSIDE?

Not sure if this is the right section but.....................

well im assembling the motor after 3 months of down time and came across a few things i forgot about or have never seen. so if you guys could help me point out whats what when i post pics thanks.. couldnt really search it since i didnt know what it was called in the first place

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

1- if someone could tell me what this sensor is for (the one Green arrows are pointing to) and what harness it goes to.. looks as if the terminal broke off that went under the phillips screw at the end of sensor

thanks OIL PRESSURE SENSOR

2- under the intake manifold there this bracket with a sensor on it.. i dont remember if its not used anymore since i did the evap and egr delete.. is it safe to just remove sensor or should i leave plugged up to harness? also has vacuum nipples on it EGR SOLENOID

3- when we were removing the power steering compressor a blue with white stripe wire was ripped from somewhere on the compressor but cant trace where it came from or going into. on pic 1 you can see the little heat shield has a plastic clip on where the wire ran through. heres a couple of pictures

4- what is this? does it go somewhere on trans? looks to be grease inside the hole

No. That solenoid is emissions related. The boost control solenoid is near the front left headlight.

The wire to the power steering pump tells the ECU when the pump is working hard so the ECU can bump the idle. You probably want that working.

It may be possible to split the rubber down one side and see if you can reach what's left of the wire inside and solder and heat-shrink it. I don't know how far the wire ripped off in there though, but it's worth a shot at least.
