If the people would stop buying them at high prices, they would slow down production, possibly put more attention to detail into them, and the cost would start to go down. If you guys want a poorly painted lip with parts that still don't line up correctly, then by all means keep paying their inflated prices.

 

Some people don't want to wait until 2012 to get a new lip. Dmand goes down, they'll probably stop being produced.

I don't care anyways. I have mine and its going to be wonderful. Lol.

I want a lip and this one looked like a good deal where can I get a nice lip like this ? At a reasonable price ?

 

You'll have to wait until the price comes down, no other vendor carries it as far as we know. Maybe contact rexpeed and see if they're wiling to make their own copy? They don't seem to do poly parts though, only CF and a few random V/G's they probably purchase from an outside vendor.

I want one too, just have to wait for that price to come down a bit.

 

Finally went to storage, pulled my bumper off, jammed it in a VW Jetta, brought it up 3 flights of stairs and did the swap.

When I first looked at the lip, I thought to myself, there is no way this is going to fit.

But with a mini pair of channel locks, and a dremel with a bit, it went on nicely. After the pictures I did some more adjusting and got rid of the gaps.

Yes, the paint isn't great, but I wouldn't have cared if it came unpainted.

If it wasn't going to eat cones this summer, I might repaint it myself.
