Help: What is this plug in dash?

Hey guys. I bought a complete engine wiring harness for my IX to do a custom tuck. I'm in the process of taking it apart and removing plugs and wiring I no longer need to simplify it. Can anyone identify what this plug might be used for? It is a dummy plug that is capped off and not even used right from the factory as I had seen this when I removed my original harness. I'm more curious than anything to find out what it is as it was not used from the get go, so removing it will effect nothing. Any ideas?

Didn some of the IXs come with the terrain selection type deal? I think its called active yaw control to select tarmac gravel or snow. Could that be what its for maybe?

Hmmm. I'm going to have to do some more digging. Maybe I'll try PMing Russell from mitsuparts to see if he can shed any light.

You could call a mitsu dealer and get a diagram or find it online.
