Evo key green control flashes?!

Hey I have a 2006 Evo IX and the green light with the key symbol is flashing and car wont start. Do I have to reprogram the key or something?

Don't have an Evo, but the RSX has the same green key light which is for the immobilizer system on the car.

^this try using a spare key if you have one
