Clutch Pedal getting stuck to floor, CEL came on next day

Just as the title says, having some problems with her again.

The Clutch is sticking to the floor when shifting and I am having to use my foot to release the clutch. About 1 day later the CEL came on. It went off yesterday for a little while, but now it is back on.

It is REALLY cold here, temps in the single digits so I don't know if that might be causing some issues. We also have ALOT of Ice and Snow on the ground. I keep the car in my garage too.

I have not noticed any performance issues.

If anyone has any helpful information I would appreciate it!

Thanks,

Springs in the pressure plate move the throwout bearing which moves the throwout arm which moves the slave cylinder which moves fluid through the piping which moves the master cylinder which causes the pedal to come back up. None of this will generate a CEL if not working correctly.

Check your clutch line for leaks, if you don't find any leaks then you might just have to bleed your clutch line.

Make sure you invest in a clutch stop kit. It installs in minutes. I believe I got mine from STM

turns out to be the master cylinder leaking. Going to have both the master and slave cylinders replaced at the stealership for $548.

Thanks for the feedback!
