06 MR 98k miles

Found a super clean MR .. Looks stock except for a muffler. The inside was brand new looking. It was at a car lot and they where closed so I didn't sit in it .
Stock BBS wheels .. It had 98 k miles . They are asking $19 for it .
While I don't own a evo , I have always wanted one. I have a 06 Mazda speed6 fully bolted ..
Would you be concerned with the milage? The lot was nice all BMW's , s2000,Lexus ect.. So it looks like they sell nice used cars ..
Oh yeah the car fax in the window said no accidents and 4 owners..

4 owners and never had anything done to it but exhaust? I really find that almost hard to believe with the way these cars are. Did you check the radiator to see if there were any bent fins?(a sign something has been done turbo wise)

Go to cars.com and compare what people are selling theirs for to the one you are looking at. I think you could do alot better, but then it won't be in your back yard, probably.

19k is a bit steep. I'm the 3rd owner of my evo and I bought it bone stock at 91k miles. It currently has 105 and all it has is a TBE and a tune.

My 05 MR that I got in Aug was totally stock (I looked for every sign of previous mods, none visable. Girl owned it) and it had 54K, and I am the 2nd owner... I payed 17.5... Way to much for that car.

I just took a quick look at the guy's past threads. Looks like he bought a heavily modified car that blew its motor a short time after purchase. I'm not trying to put him on the spot. Folks come to this forum looking for information. These kinds of posts are not only uninformative, they're misleading. Clearly, the $20K for that particular ~30K mile car was no bargain.

FWIW, a 4-owner Evo with 98,000 miles on the clock? No thanks.
