If anyone has or can find a pic of the Evolution 8 Samco radiator hose kit (off the car) could you please post it for me or contact me via e-mail or AIM?

I'm getting more and more certain we can crossfit them onto the Lancer, but I've been unable to find a good pic of the hoses off the car as of yet.

it looks like you could CUT the hose though, the evo's looks as though it will be longer

 

I'm expecting slight bending/modification. So long as it's not kinking when hot I'm not concerned. You even used my old, ghetto (as if it weren't still) engine bay.

I did the same comparison last night with Paul. I'm more concerned with the shape of the lower hose than the upper.

Isnt that the intercooler pipe set, not the radiator set?

 

The upper hose looks like it COULD work but doesn't appear to shame the same diameter througout, looking at the section closest to the head. Evo guys want to confirm? Here is the pic of the VII's hose kit, I take it no one has the VIII's yet (if they're different at all)? Then there's the Lancer's lower hose (awful but that's the way they look, hence my desire to get newer and shinier ones!) Maybe maybe maybe...

EDIT: Looking at my pic, the Lancer hose goes straight down off the thermostat port...but again, with some convincing, the hoses might fit. If this doesn't work, anyone with Samco experience know how flexible "Flex" is in regards to their Super Flex hoses?

Tellin' me to search and then posting a pic of the Evo 8 piping couplers doesn't help your case. I was looking for the radiator hoses (like Paul posted). The ones he showed are for the VII though and I want to make absolutely certain they're the same as the 8 before I delve any further.

Basically I need something to compare my hoses to and on-the-car shots weren't cutting it. Thanks, guys.

 

I installed mine 2 days ago... )both intercooler and radiator
Upper intercooler hose is keep coming off after 10min of hard driving even i tight it up all the way...

 

Take a look up top. I updated my pic... That is the Evo Rad hose set for the VIII.

The lower hose doesn't look to far off but the end that would plug into the radiator itself...I can't be sure how if it'd work or not, but the one that connects to the thermostat port, looks like a good match. Looks like I'm gonna need more pictures. I'm also talking to a company about retrofitting either Eclipse or Evo hoses before going to a custom job so keep your fingers crossed!
