Good quality mods?

I primarily was looking at stock MR's because i dont know much about the aftermarket scene yet, just the cars themselves. But i came across a local tarmac mr se for sale that is low mile and very clean. It has some mods on it however and would just like to know if they sound like the owner cared about his car when he was picking them out.

Mods

ETS 3.5inch front mount intercooler
ETS Lower Intercooler Pipe Version 2.0
ETS Intake /w KN filter
MAP Ceramic Coated and Ported Exhaust Manifold
MAP 3inch Downpipe with wastegate Dump and ceramic coated (one of the only true 3inch downpipe)
Electronic Boost Solenoid (ECU controlled boost, one of the safest and efficient methods of boost control)
Walboro Fuel Pump
Megan Test pipe and Cat Back Exhaust
AEM WBO2 and Boost Gauge
Ivey Tune (350whp)

Also, how does tarmac black hold up if taken care of.

Thanks guys,
Really cant wait to get into an evo .

The mods sound good, but that doesn't mean the previous owner took care of the car like they're supposed to.....

All name brands with good reputation. It's almost impossible to find an Evo that hasn't been modded at one time in its life. The tune is the big one, that means the car is running as well as possible for the mods it has. All looks good to me.

The parts are fine. The open dump is a concern. Personally, I would skip this car.

Could you explain a little more what the issue could be with that?

Thanks

i would get someone to pull the map and check out the tune to make sure its safe. Someone on here could probably do it if they are close by. I bought my car used and i was the 5th owner. The seller i bought it from only listed a few mods but everytime i put in on the lift im suprised by finding more and more mods.......good ones at that lol. Of course I brought it to a reputable shop for thorough inspection but never asked for a list of what they found.. they just gave me

Call around to local shops and find someone who will do a compression test for you. It should only take an hour as long as they're not behind schedule. When I had mine done, I also asked them to pour a tiny amount of oil into the cylinders and repeat the test to ensure the numbers didn't go up significantly, which is indicative of some serious problems.

As a side note, I assumed every Evo was modded at one point. Digging into my recent Evo purchase seems to show otherwise (excluding all of the wiring for the past owner's subwoofers and stereo equipment ).

I just went to go check out this car earlier today. Really nice and clean car, mint condition interior. And the black paint is as good as i think you could see on one of these cars used. It drove nice and all the mods looked to be done rite. He has all the stock parts which is nice to here. Still puzzled by why he did the wastegate dump. Its a ceramic coated DP, he said he would swap that out for me and put the stock one back in and get it re tuned for me. He seemed like a really nice guy who knew a lot about what he was talking about with these cars. Im really considering this one.

How much is this car going for? Also how many miles does it have on it? Like mentioned before it is impossible to find a stock Evo and if you are buying one that has been previously modded make sure you do compression tests and take it to a couple of mechanics to do an inspection.

Its got 25k miles, hes asking 25. But im not going to pay that. So we will see what I can get him down too. And yea def a compression test and leak test will have to be done.

Wow, it seems like most Evo's have way less mileage than they should for some odd reason and this one is no exception. That actually seems like a decent price considering the mileage and modifications done. If you can talk him down even better, but you're looking at a solid price there.
