Hey guys,
Haven't been on the forums for a while now...About to do something a little bit different with my car trying to hit maximum numbers safely with the stock turbo.
2006 Evo IX MR, about 39,500miles, Got tuned by TTP, car is at 360trq,360awhp on a Mustang Dyno
Mods thus far:
-TTP Tune
-Forge UNOS MBC (set to 23.5 psi on stock turbo)
-Forge RS DV
-QTP Downpipe Electronic Cutout (the switch is broken, car is 100 percent open all the time lol fml)
-KN Drop-in Intake
-Walbro 255HP Fuel pump
I REALLY need to buy some kind of monitoring equipment and I'm looking at the Zeitronix Wideband in order to monitor everything. I still have the wack gauges that the car came with lol with the boost gauge going to 1.5 bar (19psi).
Is it really viable to gun for 450awhp on stock turbo?

I wasn't congratulating you on going to TTP.. From my knowledge, TTP is one of the worst shops to go to. Don't be surprised if you're not really making anywhere near that power.. I would have went to AWD..

No. The turbo does not flow anywhere near enough air to support 450awhp.
Stock turbo and stock injectors are good for roughly 300 to 350 legitimate rear wheel horsepower, depending on the dyno.
Definitely invest in monitoring equipment and spend time familiarizing yourself with the Evo ECU. This will be your best possible investment by far.

I don't have my dyno sheets on me, or else I would post them up...
Yeah that's what I'm thinking too, get the Zeitronix wideband and all the stuff with it, and maybe a Tactrix Cable, and I need to fix my downpipe cutout...
And I was thinking cams, but I really don't need to upgrade them unless im doing something drastic, and I don't have the money to do anything drastic lol.
Im debating on getting a larger intercooler, but im debating on that, because if I invest in a bigger one right now and a tune, when I get more money I can couple it with a larger turbo, or it could be a dumb decisions in the short term thinking about how much power I can get out of it..ugh decisions decisions...

Thanks for all the suggestions:
Yeah I got a ACT six-puck single disc with a lighter flywheel I got from TTP,
I really really love my cutout despite how loud it is lol. I don't think I can shell out the money for a TBE either. I was just looking at ToxicFab O2 dump that in the vendor forum. Thinking about coupling that with my cutout...
So here is the list thus far
-Zeitronix Wideband Equipment and Installation- 400-500$
-ToxicFab02 Dump- https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...ump-look.html- 355 plus shipping
Well...if I just get the Wideband equipment, install the O2 dump, then get a tune, everything will total out to around 1400 dollars lol and I might as well buy and install the cams while im at it, making the total around to like 2000 lol.
I hate money

lower intercooler pipe
downpipe
high flow cat/test pipe
450whp is no where near realistic unless you go with a larger turbo like a fpred and even then you'll need cams
consider using a new shop to tune your car...TTP does not have a great history with EvoM...I'd recommend AWD motorsports as an alternative

Hey chaotic, I sent you a private message about the TTP thing...I'm just kinda confused as to what is going on because last time i was on here (a while ago) ttp was still in good standing with this website...
And those mod choices are great, thank you!
