Thinking about ordering a set of rods and pistons for my build, but I was wondering what was the wait time on pistons for some of the other guys with this same setup. Also, who did you order yours from. Vendors welcome to post truthful answers to how long it will take them to get the pistons.

 

They are a stock part from Manley now. Go to their website, it will give you all the options with part numbers.

 

We have blueprints for most of the common engines ( Nissan, BMW, Mitsubishi Honda, Acura, Etc. )which greatly reduces the wait time. Average lead time for a set of custom pistons is 3-4 weeks

I was really looking for the Wiseco pistons, but I didn't even know that Manley sold a lr2.4 piston

 

Wiseco is supposed to be a stocking item by March according to my sources.

They are in stock on our shelf. Ours are a custom part. We use NO standard shelf parts typically, when it comes to pistons.

Typically 4-6 weeks is what I've seen

 

map performance was very helpful when i was going to go that route and they had some in stock that was about two months ago so i wouldent consider them a custom part anymore.

 

My 10:1 LR pistons took about 6 weeks I believe.
