Pink HID???

so my stock head lights are fine when it turns on initially. it warms up regularly and after about 3 seconds one of my headlights start to turn pink!
and after about 30 seconds it shuts off.
i was wondering if this is due to a bad bulb or bad harness so i can go buy one!

and if i do go buy one whats a good brand and a place to get them?

and comments would be appreciated

Sounds like you could have a ballast going bad.

Your bulb might be over heating, that might be whats making it go pink.

haha its back and forth on here for you. I'm an electrician and I've seen bulbs go pink because of the ballast. but i have also seen it happen because of the bulb it self, but in that case it usually does it because the ballast isnt supplying the appropriate current to it. take the cheap way out change the bulb and see what happens

be sure to replace the bulbs in pairs...not just one at a time...

a lot of people can vouch that HID's do lose their intensity over time...and im pretty sure you dont wanna run around in your evo with one bright bulb and one dull bulb...lol

When my bulbs went out (like to the point where it actually turned off on me while driving), it was purple. It was just the bulb itself. Don't know about pink though. As what a few said, just try to replace the bulb first.

I bought mine from this guy:

Cheap and he ships very fast.
