This is not a thread about converting to the gsr control, but rather just how hard it'd be to make it LOOk like it. I like the design of it and the round knobs and such. I would like to move my a/c unit down into the cubby and alter its look/design. anyone got ideas of where to purchase round knobs like that or does anyone have spare knobs that will fit....help me out

The Montero's climate control panel is identical. You can probably order that, as well as the DIN pocket for the accessory gauge pack and come up with something close.

 

identical to what?? the gsr? doesnt look like it to me. Im looking for a way to change the existing....not buy a new one.

I would also like to know if this is possible but I really don't care if the knobs look like the euro version. I just want the climate controls in that cubby spot because I may want to install a LCD in the upper spot poetion.

 

it is im doing it right now... just a lil more fabbing and ill be done with it......using new knobs. lookin good

i no longer need help on the look coversion i guess this can be a move a/c post now...why not. Ill do a how to when i finish
