Anyone have HKS or Tomei Duracon shift knobs?

I'm looking for a new shift knob, and prior experience has told me that a metal shift knob is totally a lesson in pain living in FL. So I'm looking for a plastic one, or perhaps a leather one, thats a bit larger than stock and possibly heavier.

I like the Tomei Duracon

They make a long version as well as a short. Anyone have this knob?

The HKS is a nice one too, like the red accent against the black, bonus that it's round similar to stock

Kind of leaning towards the HKS at this point, what do you think?

Little bland, but effective. It doesn't give any more information than that, is it a counterweighted knob? What's the cost?

They are on sale on the HKS website for only $35.97 but the Evo fitted ones are sold out.

The one place I found that had the HKS knobs, didn't have the right thread for EVO's.

+1 i hate it during the summer time, when the knob especially if you have a metal one heats it, it burns the hell outa me.

I had a tomei duracon on my 240 it made the shifter a little shorter....tried putting it on my evo and it didn't fit. The thread was too deep in the shift knob so it didn't screw on...

+1 on the dent sport garage shift knob. There is no locking nut just screw it on. Great feel and weight! Comes in black or white.
