Rally wing

Ok, before the flaming starts, I am wanting to do something different I am really wanting to find either a replica or maybe take off of the old WRC wing that was mounted near the front of the trunk. Does anyone know where I can find this? SPA does not have them on their site.

I can find pictures all over.. but no place to get one. Maybe if the mods would have left this thread in show and shine, I would have gotten an answer.

you know you cant open you trunk anymore, right? You have to disassemble the whole trunk mechanism . and secure the trunk with 4 studs and pins. Also if you dont lighten up your trunk will be a quiet exercise to take it off , and usually needs two people to do that. The you have to put your trunk on the ground to excesses to the trunk space , but you dont have to do that if you have a third person.

If you still want one i try to locate one for you. Also they are not cheap and come unpainted.

I remember looking for one of these a few years ago, and could not find anything. There was a guy on SoCalEvo that new where to get one, but I never pursued that route.

It seems like you CAN open the trunk, obviously with a totally different mechanism, but at least you won't have to set the trunk on the ground while you load your stuff in the trunk

Here is a link to the thread on SoCal Evo where the guy talks about having a lead on them, it's old, but a place to start.

http://www.socalevo.net/index.php?op...37&topic=50764

Any other pictures of that rally Evo? or a link to where I can see more?

Hope this helps! I'd love to see more rally replica-esque Evos!

Well, that picture I posted is an actual WRC car, the last one Mitsubishi built, and it isn't an evo, it's actually based on a lancer platform, with the 4g63 engine and the rest I think is completely custom made. Beautiful car for sure.

OP, try to look over on lancerregister.com, they might have an idea where to get the wing... I remember seeing one on ebay, let me tell you it wasn't cheap...
